Habitat for Humanity of Castle Country has two programs – one that builds home and the other that completes critical home repairs. Both operate after Habitat for Humanity’s model of home ownership. In this program, Habitat builds and sells homes in partnership with hard-working, low-income families who are willing to work hard to become homeowners. Learn about our previous homes and future opportunities here.
In addition, Habitat works with existing low-income homeowners in Carbon and Emery Counties to complete critical home repairs so that they can continue to live in safe and affordable homes through A Brush with Kindness (ABWK). All projects are paid back through monthly, affordable payments for up to two years. These payments are then placed into a revolving loan fund that funds future A Brush with Kindness projects. Learn about our different home repair projects and how to apply for ABWK here. We are also searching for potential families interested in partnering with us.
In both instances, we provide a hand-up, not a hand-out.
